Sweepstakes: points, qualification, and the winner draw
How GMV, views, and posts earn weighted entries, how minimum GMV works, and how the shared sweepstakes winner is revealed.
A Sweepstakes gives creators weighted chances to win one configured reward. More qualifying points increase the chance of winning; the creator with the highest score is not guaranteed to win.
Configure points and reward
Set the available point rules for GMV, views, and posts, including the number of points per unit. Contributions from the configured rules add together.
Example: with one point per dollar of qualifying GMV and ten points per qualifying post, $200 GMV and three posts produce 230 points. A rule awarding points per view uses individual views as its unit; read the rule's label rather than assuming a per-1,000 rate from a views race.
Configure the single winner's reward as cash, prizes, or both where offered. The campaign's products, dates, and counted-content settings still determine which activity contributes. Do not assume all LIVE or account-wide activity contributes merely because a GMV rule exists.
Optional rule combinations and validation
Use one or more point rules. Each rule needs a metric and a positive points-per-unit amount. The builder rejects duplicate rules for the same metric; change the existing GMV rule rather than adding another GMV rule to double its weight.
You can combine GMV, views, and posts, or use only the metric(s) you want. Omitted metrics add no points. A points-per-unit amount of zero is not a valid enabled rule; remove that rule instead. The draw still has one reward package and one winner, rather than one winner for every point-rule row.
Minimum GMV to enter the draw
The optional minimum GMV is an eligibility gate. A creator below it receives no draw entries, even if their posts or views would otherwise generate points. Once the creator meets the campaign GMV minimum, their qualifying point rules can contribute.
This is the campaign's tracked qualifying GMV, not the creator's rolling profile GMV. It is distinct from a leaderboard's minimum threshold, whose unit depends on the ranking metric.
How the winner is chosen
Campaign completion processing selects and saves the winner from eligible weighted entries. The wheel reveals that stored result, so other viewers see the same winner. Refreshing the page or another viewer revealing the wheel does not create a new independent prize draw.
If completion processing has not saved a winner yet, the wheel cannot reveal one; repeatedly clicking it does not force a new draw.
The winner still needs the appropriate payout or prize-fulfillment steps. Revealing a name does not itself mean a cash transfer reached the creator's bank.
Why a creator has no entries or no win
Check participation approval, minimum GMV, point-rule units, qualifying products and dates, disqualifications, and sync timing. TikTok can take up to 48 hours to surface newly posted content. A creator with entries can still lose a weighted random draw; entries are chances, not guaranteed payouts.
