Creator campaign content: submit a TikTok link and check missing progress
What creators submit, account ownership, posting dates, the 48-hour TikTok delay, product validation, and why a visible post may not qualify.
Campaign content can be tracked automatically, and creators can manually submit an eligible TikTok post link from their campaign page when a post is missing. A campaign submission adds a TikTok link for tracking; it is not a raw video-file upload. Meta programs have a separate file-upload flow described in Creator Meta programs.
Submit missing campaign content
- Sign in to the account that joined the campaign and open that campaign.
- Find its content/video submission control and paste the TikTok post link.
- Submit it and read any validation message. The post must belong to the creator's primary TikTok handle or a linked alias.
- Check the campaign content list and allow time for TikTok data to populate. An accepted link does not mean every metric is already available.
Pending applicants may see an awaiting-review state instead of an approved participant's content controls. Check participation status if the submission control is unavailable.
Which content counts?
The seller's Content type selection determines whether the campaign counts videos, LIVE, photo carousels, or supported combinations. Creators must follow the campaign's eligible content types and products. Being able to paste a TikTok video link does not turn a video into eligible activity for a LIVE-only campaign.
Account ownership is also required. If a post comes from a second TikTok account, link and verify that account as an alias. Do not submit another creator's content under your own participation.
How posting dates are checked
Cruva checks the actual TikTok posting timestamp, not the date the link was pasted. Manually adding an old link does not move its posting date into the competition window.
The campaign start/end bounds, applicable period, and campaign timezone matter. When Only count videos posted after they join is enabled, the joining cutoff uses the join calendar day in the relevant timezone, not simply the exact second the creator pressed Join. This setting does not override other campaign or deal boundaries.
A grace period normally lets data finish arriving for eligible posts. It only admits posts published during grace when the campaign explicitly allows that. Recurring contests and retainers have their own contiguous periods rather than the fixed-campaign grace default. Dynamic retainers also enforce the accepted deal and individual period rules.
See Detailed date, grace, and eligibility rules and Dynamic retainer periods.
Why a newly submitted post shows zero or incomplete data
TikTok can take up to 48 hours to surface new content. A valid manual submission can appear before its views, sales, title, or product information has populated. A visible row with zero metrics is not proof that the creator generated no activity, and manually submitting does not force TikTok to return data immediately.
As data arrives, Cruva updates the content and evaluates eligibility. For product-restricted campaigns, it checks whether the post matches the configured eligible products. A known mismatch can be rejected immediately; a mismatch confirmed later can cause an initially accepted post to be disqualified. Unknown product information is not the same as a confirmed match or mismatch.
Disqualified content does not count just because its row remains visible. Later changes do not necessarily clear an existing disqualification automatically; ask the brand to review it if the decision appears wrong.
Troubleshoot missing progress in order
Check the submitted URL and post owner, linked account, approved participation, selected content type, actual posting date, join-day rule, period, eligible products, and disqualification state. For a very new post, allow the TikTok availability window before treating incomplete data as a final result.
Content acceptance, updated metrics, reward qualification, and payment are separate stages. If metrics have updated but no reward appears, also check all tier requirements, manual assignment, winner caps, and budget allocation. See Creator reward visibility.
