Build custom dashboards, set your default, and share them
Every dashboard tab is yours to edit: rearrange the defaults or make your own from any stat, chart or table in Cruva, pin Copilot answers, pick which one opens first, and share any of them with a password-protected link.
For anyone who wants one place to see the numbers they care about, without clicking through every report.
The short answer
On the Dashboard page, every tab is a dashboard you can edit. Cruva starts you with six: Analytics, Products, Creators, Videos, Outreach and GMV Max, the same views the dashboard always had. Change them, delete them, drag the tabs into a new order, or click + to make your own and fill it with anything from across Cruva: individual stats, top products, top affiliates, the affiliate funnel, retention cohorts, sample reports, video and Live performance, Content Insights, GMV Max, Halo Effect, AI recommendations (the AI report's advice on what to do next, written for the dashboard's dates) and more. Each shop has its own dashboards: everyone who can open the shop can see and edit them, and you can share any of them outside Cruva with a link and a password.
Deleted one of the six by accident? Open All dashboards (the library icon at the right of the tabs) and click Restore a default board (the circular arrow).
Make a dashboard
- Go to Dashboard and click + next to your tabs. A new dashboard called "Untitled dashboard" is added to the shop you're on.
- It opens in edit mode. Its name is in the box at the top of the page, beside Cancel and Save: type a new one (for example "Weekly team review").
- The main menu folds away and the Customize panel takes its place on the left. While the board is empty, it shows templates (Growth review, Creator health, Sample ops and more): click one to lay out a whole dashboard at once, then change anything. Or add widgets yourself: search at the top of the panel, or open a section (Analytics, Subscriptions, Products, Creators, Samples…) and click a stat or widget to add it, or drag it onto the board exactly where you want it. You can also hover over a widget on the board and click the + on any side of it to add one right there: left or top puts the new widget before it, right or bottom after it. Click Save when you're done.
Changed your mind? If you cancel (or click away to another dashboard) before adding anything to a brand-new dashboard, it's thrown away, so you aren't left with an empty "Untitled dashboard".
To change a dashboard later, click the pencil (Edit) at the right of the tabs. That's also where you rename it: the name is editable at the top of the page while you're editing.
Widgets you can't open elsewhere in Cruva are grouped under Not available at the bottom of the panel. Hover one to see why: either your role doesn't include that section, or the shop's plan doesn't include it.
Arrange and configure widgets
- Layout: every widget is a whole number of standard height units, so cards line up: two number stats stacked are exactly as tall as one chart stat. Shorter widgets stack beside taller ones, in your order; put a few stat cards right after a table and they fill the space next to it.
- Place anywhere across a row: drag a widget sideways to put it in any column, even with empty space beside it. Widgets always move up to fill any space above them, so there are no vertical gaps. Everyone sees the arrangement you set up in edit mode.
- Resize: in edit mode, hover a widget and drag the handle on its right edge. It snaps to the sizes that widget comes in, and the board rearranges around it as you drag. Resizing, adding or removing a widget lets the widgets after it slide back into place around the change.
- Change a widget: in edit mode, click it. Its size, settings and Remove open in the Customize panel and apply as you go.
- Reorder: in edit mode, drag widgets by their handle. Save keeps your changes; Cancel throws them away.
- Edit several dashboards in a row: click another tab while editing and it opens in edit mode too. If you have unsaved changes, you're asked to save or discard them first.
- Stats: every stat (Total GMV, Videos Posted, Sample Requests and the rest) is its own small widget. In the Customize panel, each section lists its own stats first (sample stats under Samples, ad spend under Ads, GMV under Analytics, and so on). Click a stat and choose Graph (the number with its trend) or Number (just the number), or drag it into place to add it as a graph. It lands on the board as a card you can move and resize. A stat's settings switch it between its trend chart and a plain number, change which stat it shows, and, for EMV, set the CPM (also reachable from the gear on the EMV card).
- One thing per widget: a widget shows one thing. Numbers are stat cards, and a table widget is just the table, so you can place and size each part on its own. The default Videos dashboard, for example, is a row of stat cards (Videos Posted, Video GMV, Video Views, Avg GMV / Video) above the videos table, with Top hooks and Top selling points beside each other below it. Older widgets that showed several things at once (Video performance, Sample spend, Refundable samples, Top hooks & selling points, Content format, the Meta ads overview, and the Social Intelligence favorites movers and hooks) now appear on your dashboards as their separate parts, with the same settings.
- Stat chart plots up to six stats together as lines over time or as bars of totals, for views like "GMV by channel". It isn't in the Customize panel: ask Copilot ("break down my GMV by channel") and pin the chart it shows. A stat chart already on a dashboard keeps working, and its settings still change which stats it plots.
- Export: ⋯ → Export stats (CSV) downloads every stat chart on the board. Drag across any stat chart to zoom the whole dashboard to those dates.
- Widget menu: hover any widget and click its ⋯ to ask Copilot about it, open its settings, rename it, or remove it. In edit mode, the bin on a widget removes it too.
The filter bar at the top (dates, comparison period, products, campaigns, and "show data from all campaigns") applies to every widget, the videos table included: it has no date or product pickers of its own. Generate report and full screen are at the top of every dashboard; the library, Share, Edit and the dashboard's ⋯ menu are at the right of the tabs. A few widgets work on their own scope instead, such as retention cohorts or Social Intelligence.
Lock in the filters a dashboard opens with
In edit mode, click Page defaults next to the filter bar to choose what the dashboard starts with: a date range (such as Last 30 days or Month to date), a group by (day, week or month) and, on the shop the dashboard was made on, the products, picked from a drop-down right in the panel. Save the dashboard and everyone who opens it starts there, and so does anyone who opens it through a share link. They can still change the filters; their changes aren't saved. A locked date range is relative, so "Last 30 days" is always the last 30 days from the day someone opens it.
If the dashboard is also on other shops, the date range and grouping apply there too. Locked products don't, because products belong to one shop.
If two people edit the same dashboard at once, whoever saves second is asked to reload so nobody's changes are silently overwritten.
Pin Copilot answers
Ask Copilot a question like "break down my GMV by channel" or "who are my top affiliates this month". When the answer can be shown as a dashboard widget, Copilot shows the live widget in the chat with a Pin to dashboard button. Pinned widgets stay live: they show current data every time you open the dashboard and follow its date range.
You can also open the ⋯ menu on any widget and choose Ask Copilot about this to get an explanation of what changed.
Keep your tabs tidy
Your tab row is yours. Open a dashboard's ⋯ menu and choose Unpin from tabs to take it off your row (it isn't deleted, and nobody else's tabs change), or Pin to tabs to keep it there. Drag tabs to put them in your own order. A dashboard you make is pinned for you. Until you change anything, every dashboard on the shop is a tab, as before.
Every dashboard is still a click away:
- Find a dashboard: press ⌘J (Ctrl+J on Windows) and type part of its name or anything on it ("retention" finds every dashboard with a retention widget). Your recently opened dashboards are at the top.
- All dashboards: the library (its icon is at the right of the tabs) shows every dashboard on the shop as a card with a preview of its layout, who made it, when it was last opened, and whether it's on other shops or has share links. Search, filter (in your tabs, made by you, shared by link, not opened lately, archived) and sort, and pin, share, duplicate or archive straight from a card.
Owners and admins can open the library's ⋯ menu and choose Use my tabs as the shop's starting tabs: anyone who hasn't arranged their own tabs then starts with that set.
Archive dashboards you don't use
Archive (in a dashboard's ⋯ menu, or on its card) takes a dashboard out of everyone's tabs and stops it opening first, without deleting it. It stays in the library under Archived, its share links keep working, and Unarchive brings it back. The library points out dashboards nobody has opened in 60 days so you can archive them in one go.
Choose which dashboard opens first
Open a dashboard's ⋯ menu:
- Make this my default opens it for you whenever you go to Dashboard on this shop.
- Make this the shop default (owners and admins only) opens it for everyone on this shop who hasn't picked their own.
In the library, the dashboard you'll land on is marked Opens first. If your default dashboard is deleted or archived, you land on your first tab instead.
Each shop has its own dashboards
Dashboards belong to the shop you're on. Switching shops shows that shop's own set of tabs, in its own order, with its own defaults. Changing or deleting a dashboard on one shop never touches another, unless it's a dashboard you've put on several shops (below).
Show one dashboard on several shops
To use the same dashboard on more than one of your shops, open it, click ⋯, then Show on other shops, and tick the shops. It stays one dashboard: a change made on any of those shops shows on all of them, and each shop shows its own data. A shop icon on the tab marks a dashboard that's on more than one shop.
- Your tabs on each shop are your own: pin it where you want it.
- On a shop it was shared to, Remove from this shop takes it off that shop only. Deleting it on the shop it was made on deletes it everywhere.
- Share links show the data of the shop they were made on. Taking the dashboard off a shop takes it off that shop's links.
- You can only add it to (or take it off) shops you can open yourself.
Each shop's Analytics dashboard starts from the stat layout that shop had before custom dashboards existed, so nobody loses a layout they set up.
Share a dashboard
- Open the dashboard and click Share, at the right of the tabs.
- Click New link and set a password (at least 8 characters).
- To put more dashboards on the same link, tick them under Dashboards on this link. Each one is a tab on the link, in the order you tick them.
- Click Create link, then Copy and send the link. Send the password separately.
Each link shows its dashboards whole, with that shop's data, read-only. You can make as many links as you like (for example one per client), each with its own password. A link with several dashboards opens on the first. A viewer starts with each dashboard's locked-in filters (see above), and the link's own Default date range wins over the dashboard's for the date. Filters a viewer changes stay the same as they switch tabs.
Things to know:
- A link always matches its dashboards: widgets you add, move or remove show up the same way on every link. A link is listed in the Share panel of every dashboard on it, and you can add or remove dashboards there at any time.
- Deleting a dashboard takes it off its links. A link stops working once none of its dashboards are left.
- Change password signs out everyone currently viewing that link.
- Revoke link stops it working immediately.
- Sample cost figures (sample spend, wasted sample spend, GMV per sample dollar) are never shown on shared links.
- A link only ever shows what the person who made it can see in Cruva. If their access changes, the link changes with it.
- A few widgets can't be shared yet; they're left off links, and the share panel lists them.
- Share links made before custom dashboards existed still work: a shop that used the old password-protected share page gets a Shared view dashboard with the same sections, and the old link opens it behind the same password. Shops that never used that page don't get one.
